Isuzu Piazza Lotus/Isuzu Impulse - 1988

A little bit of fender flare and some tuning and this would be a cool hatch now. I haven't seen one for a long time though.

No, as I matter of fact, I don't recall seeing many of them when they were new. Sad, really, its probably the best thing Isuzu ever sold here, perhaps even more so than the 1st gen Trooper.

Not in a VERY long time. I am fortunately old enough to remember Starions and these when they were new.

I'm in the bay area with lots of Japanese cars, I've seen Starions etc.. but I haven't see one of these for some time.

I saw a perfect white Starion a few months ago. Fucking awesome. I love my Z but if I were to get a more modern car I might pick a starion.

While a bit newer than the one you showed, I always wanted one of the turbocharged AWD Impulses, and vigilantly looked for one when I was in college. But sadly, I never found one for sale. Even the GT4 Celicas I ran across in some overpriced or beaten to hell form. But never the turbo, AWD Impulse.
